In Cowtown, there is a yearly event known as The Betty Mitchell Awards that celebrates achievements in the performing arts. It is Cowtown's equivalent of Hollywood's Oscars, or New York's Tonys, or Toronto's Doras, or Edmonton's Sterlings... but much smaller.
